What an amazing place! That’s one thing that the food was amazing but we have shared a passion about motorcycles with the staff. Great chatting. Amazing food. Very nice setting. I think you should not miss this place if around here. I’ll come back for sure.

We had a wonderful time at Il Palio. Would definitely recommend for a date, or a small family event. The pastas are exquisite, and the antipasto lovely. Have a chat with the owner, he is from Tuscany and might teach you a bit of Italian!
Il Palio in Mosman, Sydney, is an absolute gem of an Italian restaurant that delivers an unforgettable dining experience. The food is nothing short of spectacular—authentic Italian cuisine with standout dishes like the Tagliata steak, perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, and the Moscardini octopus, which was tender and divine. Their pasta and wine selection are equally impressive, showcasing the best of Italian culinary tradition. The service is impeccable; the staff are attentive and go above and beyond, swapping out cutlery with every course and offering friendly, detailed explanations about the wine pairings. The ambiance transports you straight to Italy with its charming, authentic interior design. Every detail, from the food to the atmosphere, screams quality and care. If you’re in Sydney and craving exceptional Italian fare, Il Palio is a must-visit. Highly recommend!
Absolutely loved this place! The food was authentic and full of flavour. Everything was spot on. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the portions were just right. We had the salmone del banditore, very tasteful and so refreshing and the popular ravioli porcini, both were absolutely delicious. The staff were super friendly and made us feel very welcome. Cozy vibes and great service made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a proper Italian meal. Will definitely come back again!
I really enjoyed the coffee on my first visit to Il Palio, so much so that I came back the next day to have another and try the food. Both times the service was warm and welcoming, the coffees were consistent and full of flavor, and the eggs Benedict was absolutely delicious. Definitely a place I’ll be returning to and I highly recommend if you enjoy a good coffee and meal.
I had an unforgettable meal at Il Plalio. First of all, the staff's explanation of the wine was truly impressive. They carefully explained the characteristics of the wine and food pairings, which allowed me to fully enjoy the wine. Thanks to their guidance, I was able to choose the perfect wine to complement my meal. The food was absolutely amazing! The pasta I ordered was a wide tagliatelle, perfectly coated with a deep, rich sauce. The pieces of meat in the sauce were tender and juicy, making me marvel with every bite. You could tell every dish was prepared with care, and the fresh ingredients really shone through. The interior was also fantastic. The warm lighting and sophisticated wooden tables created a cozy yet upscale atmosphere. It’s a perfect place to come with friends or family, or even for a special date night. Overall, the food, service, and ambiance at Il Plalio were all perfect! I can’t wait to visit again. Highly recommend!
Decided to give this a go last minute via the Too Good To Go app. Got this lovely box for $8. It was perfect for my fussy kids. The croissant was truly the best croissant we’ve had in Sydney (and we get them a lot since it’s one of my autistic children's safe foods). We will definitely be back in the future. Thanks so much :)
